Community guidelines

Last updated 13 October 2026. These apply to everything social in the FIT app: friends, leaderboards, groups and chat.

The short version

FIT's community is here to help people stay motivated. Be kind, be honest and be safe. There is no place here for abuse, and we act on reports.

Not allowed

  • Hate speech, slurs, or attacks on someone's race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or body.
  • Harassment, bullying, threats or encouraging someone to hurt themselves.
  • Sexually explicit content, nudity, or anything involving minors in a sexual context.
  • Spam, scams, advertising or promoting products without permission.
  • Impersonating another person, a coach or FIT itself.
  • Sharing someone's private information or photos without their consent.
  • Cheating the leaderboards (for example by entering false data).
  • Promoting extreme dieting, eating disorders or dangerous training.

Your tools

  • Report any message, group or member from the menu next to them. A message reported by three different people is hidden until we review it.
  • Block anyone. You won't see each other on leaderboards, feeds or in chat.
  • Mute a group to stop its notifications, or leave it at any time.
  • Privacy settings in Community let you leave the global and team boards and hide your activity from friends.

What happens when something is reported

Our team reviews reports, aiming to do so within 24 hours. Depending on what we find, we may remove the content, remove someone from a group, pause their access to community features, or close their account. Serious cases may be reported to the authorities.

Who can use Community

Community features are for members aged 18 and over. You confirm this and agree to share your activity stats, as described in our privacy policy, the first time you open Community. You can withdraw that agreement at any time in the Community privacy settings.

Appeals

If we remove your content, remove you from a group or pause your access and you think we got it wrong, you can appeal from the Community screen in the app. We tell you what we did and why, review your appeal, and let you know the outcome in the app.
