Terms of Use

1. Using this service

By creating an account with Ghost Fitness Academy ("GHOST"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

2. What GHOST is

GHOST is a platform connecting independent personal trainers with their clients — a coach dashboard on this website, and the FIT app for tracking food, training, and progress. We provide the platform; coaches provide their own coaching services independently. GHOST isn't a party to the coaching relationship between a coach and their client.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for anything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access to it.

4. Subscriptions and payments

FIT membership (the app for tracking food, training and progress) is sold as an auto-renewing monthly subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase, inside the FIT app itself — new accounts get a 14-day free trial first, with no payment method required. Once you subscribe, payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription auto-renews unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions; cancelling stops future billing but doesn't refund what's already been charged, and you keep access until the end of your current billing period.

Coach plans (a separate subscription for independent personal trainers — client capacity and related business tools) are sold as auto-renewing monthly subscriptions through Apple's In-App Purchase, inside the FIT Coach app. The plan name, length (one month) and price are shown on the plan screen before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription auto-renews each month unless you turn auto-renew off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions; cancelling stops future billing but doesn't refund what's already been charged, and you keep access until the end of your current billing period. Any coach plan taken out directly on this website is billed through the website instead, as shown at checkout, and can be cancelled from My profile.

5. Health and fitness disclaimer

Nothing on this site or in the FIT app is medical advice. Calorie targets, macro splits, and training programmes are general guidance based on the information you provide — they're not a substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian, or other qualified professional. Speak to a healthcare provider before starting a new training or nutrition programme, especially if you have an existing health condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from injury.

Coaches using this platform are independent professionals. We don't vet, certify, or take responsibility for the specific advice or programming any individual coach gives their clients.

6. Acceptable use and community conduct

The FIT app includes social features (friends, leaderboards, groups and group chat). Community features are for members aged 18 and over. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You must not post or share anything that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, illegal, or that exploits or endangers anyone, or that is spam or impersonation. Our community guidelines explain what that means in practice. You can report any message, group or member in the app and block people at any time; we review reports and will act on them — including removing content, removing people from groups or suspending access to community features — and we may do so without notice. We aim to review reports within 24 hours.

Don't use GHOST to harass, abuse, or impersonate anyone; don't try to access another person's account or data; don't attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of anything you upload (like progress photos). By uploading it, you give us permission to store and display it back to you and, where relevant, your coach — nothing more.

8. Our content

The GHOST name, logo, and the site and app's design are ours. Programmes and content we've written are for use within the service, not for republishing elsewhere.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service running reliably but don't guarantee it'll always be available or error-free — we'll fix problems as fast as we reasonably can.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, GHOST isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability for things the law doesn't allow us to limit, like death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

11. Ending your account

You can delete your account any time from My profile — this permanently removes your data, immediately; see our privacy policy for exactly what that covers. We can also close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
